The Kevin Parkhouse Memorial Sports Fund are a local group that has been set up in memory of Kevin Parkhouse, an ex-Don's player who tragically died last year. The group raises money and then distributes it to other local groups who develop sport for young people. Recently the group has donated £2000 to support the Don's Scholarship Programme, working towards producing Don's stars of the future.
The Kevin Parkouse Memorial Sports is holding a Sportsman's dinner at the Earl of Doncaster, Saturday 17th November 2007. Guest speaker Great Britain and England Rugby star John Bentley. Tickets are £35. If you are interested or want more information please contact John Reeves tel. 07799896026.
