Objective of the Club shall be :-
A/ To promote and foster Rugby League Football of a recreational nature amongst members of the club.B/ To provide facilities, equipment and finance for these activities.
C/ The club shall be a member of the Rugby League Conference.
D/ Headquarters to be the Moorends Social Club, Marshland Road, Moorends, Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
E/ Ground, Thorne Colliery Miners Welfare Ground
F/ Club colours shall be Royal Blue, Primrose Yellow & White. Back to top
Management :-

The Officers of the club shall comprise of a Chairman, Secretary and a Treasurer Back to topGeneral Committee
The General Committee shall consist of the Officers of the club, and a maximum number of six ordinary members. Any section formed or recognised by the club shall be invited to nominate one person to act as its representative on the general committee to speak in discussions concerning that sections business, But will not be entitled to vote.A/ The general committee shall meet as may be necessary for the efficient transaction of the business of the club. President and Vice President :-
A club patron, approved by the general committee, shall be invited to act as president. Such other persons as may be deemed fit may be invited by the committee to act as Vice Presidents. Back to topMembership :-
Membership of the club shall be open to anyone, that is to say, playing membership of those over the age of 17 years shall be called ordinary members,A/ The general committee may at their discreation grant life membership to any members who has rendered outstanding service to the club. Life members shall not be liable to pay subscriptions but shall be entitled to hold the rights and privileges of the club membership.
B/ Every member shall be bound by these rules and any alterations hereof and all members shall be furnished with a copy.
C/ Members shall cease to be members by reasons of :-
1. Non-Payment of subscriptions
2. Expulsion
3. Any person ceasing to be a member of the club shall forfeit all rights to and claim upon the club property and its funds. Back to top
Duties of the General Committee :-
The general Committee shall control the management of the club and it shall be the duty of the general Committee:-A/ To promote and foster the interest of the club and its members to co-ordinate the activities to the general well being and to ensure as far as possible equality for all.
B/ Control and finances of the club, ensuring that it is run at all times in a business like fashion.
C/ Maintain the following records:-
1. A cash book recording all the cash received and expended.
2. Club playing records.
3. A record and minutes of meetings.
D/ To employ the club funds, property and equipmnt in accordance with the object of the club.
E/ To enforce rules and by-laws of the club in the interest of all members
F/ The committee shall at all times be the sole authority for the interpretation of club rules and shall be final and binding upon the members. Back to top
Treasurer :-
The treasurer shall receive all monies earned by the club, and shall pay the same to the credit of a bank account opened in the name of the club (HSBC), and shall keep accounts and pay such debts as the general committee directs. Back to topSecretary :-
Shall keep a record of all members names and addresses, They shall conduct all correspondance and be responsible for all books and papers aperaining to their officeA/ The Secretary will be responsible for calling all meetings and it will be their duty to ensure a true record of minutes are taken. Chairperson :-
Shall preside over all meetings and ensure they are conducted in a proper manner. He/She shall ensure that questions are decided by a majority vote, voting will be by show of hands in the event of a tie the Chairperson will have a second casting vote.A/ In the absence of the Chairperson the general committee will elect a temporary Chairperson. The general committee or any member thereof may be removed from office by a majority of two-thirds of the members at a special general meeting called for that purpose. Back to topCasual vacancies among the officers and general committee :-
Occuring before the next Annual General Meeting shall be filled by co-opting a club member who shall have voting rights. Back to topA General Meeting :-
The club shall be convenened by the general committee as and when it shall think fit or upon the requisition in writing of any 10 members stating the purpose for which it is required. Back to topVoting :-

These will be determined at the Annual General Meeting by the members in attendance. Charges in addition to these subscriptions may be levied by the general committee on any section of the club to be payable by the members participating in that section. Back to topDrawing of Cheques :-
Every cheque drawn on the clubs bank account shall be signed by the Treasurer and any one of the general committee duly nominated. Back to topAudit :-
There shall be one auditor who shall remain in office for one year and shall be eligible for re-election at the Annual General Meeting. They will verify the balance sheets with the accounts four times in their term in office. Back to topBy-Laws :-
The General Committee shall have the power from time to time to make such by-laws (providing that they shall not be inconsistent with the clubs constitution). All such by-laws shall be binding upon the members of the club until repealed by the general committee or set aside by a resolution at a general meeting of the club.A/ Every member of the club shall be subject to these rules and to any other rules or by-laws for the time being in force. Insurance :-
A/ The club will insure players and committee members 12 months of the year for injuries sustained whilst on club business, E.g. Playing, Training, Travelling to and from games and whilst on any other business regarding the club.B/ Public liability, Any injury sustained by the general public due to a players fault whilst playing or training.
C/ Permanently wheel-chair bound whilst playing, training or on club business Back to top
